Principal
Principal Mrs. Lisa Fereria
(209) 599-7113
I began working for Ripon Unified School District in 1992. I attended St. Mary's College of California for my BA degree in Government with a minor in Business Administration. In the area of teaching, I have a single subject teaching credential in government, a multiple subject credential and a special education credential. My teaching experience includes teaching Special Needs students in a grades K-4, as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students. After 14 years of teaching, I decided to go back to school to get my Master's Degree in Educational Administration.
As Principal, the best part of my job is watching students learn and grow each day. Each new school year brings excitement for students and teachers. Teaching is a profession that is always changing as "how students learn" is always changing. Creating exciting learning opportunities for students and students learning is what makes our profession so rewarding.
Teachers are charged with one of the most important jobs on the planet, inspiring young children and adults to be better people, to learn to think, reason, and live their lives with purpose and compassion for others.
At Weston, we take pride in our students and are always eager to find new ways of approaching the act of learning. I am fortunate to work here in Ripon with such a great staff of professionals and wonderful students and parents.
